MANAGEMENT OF MIDDLE AGED AND AGED PATIENTS
After the age of 35 reading problems (presbyopia) begin and, depending on the type of hobbies, occupational needs and working environments, specialized spectacles, bifocals, trifocals, multifocals, contact lenses or other visual aids are required. As we get older more eye problems occur which, if not detected early, can result in visual loss. If visual loss does occur specialized corrections will be required such as spectacle magnifiers, telescopic spectacles and computerized reading equipment.
